Description of location and surrounding area: 10 room, 2 story home built

            on original basement/foundation in residential neighborhood, 

            downtown Clare.

Area history: Clare is a city in Clare County. (The community straddles

            Clare and Isabella counties.) The community was named after the

            county in Ireland. The latitude of Clare is 43.819N. The longitude is -

            84.768W. It is in the Eastern Standard time zone. Elevation is 837

            feet.

Client claims: Client feels anxiety on second floor since 1994. She has heard

            growling, goes through a lot of light bulbs, youngest child says there

            are monsters in the closet and attic that do not talk. She has had

            difficulty sleeping until she bought a large male dog. She saw a figure

            reflected in the television screen in living room when she was home

            alone. Attic space panels keep coming off of their openings even when

            nailed shut. She feels her mother is watching over the children and her

            ashes are in the home.

Location history: Family owned since construction. New home built on

            original basement/foundation in 1922. Great-great grandfather died in

            home. A lot of antiques and family heirlooms are in the home and

            many pieces/pictures are in original locations.

Weather at time of investigation:  Outdoor temp.  78.8 deg.

Equipment used: 5 digital cameras, 1 handheld infrared night-vision video

            camera, K-2 meter, dowsing rods, PX box, 5 digital audio recorders,

            EMF/temperature data recorder, 1 handheld digital infrared video

            camera

Equipment placement: 1 digital audio recorder in attic, 1 digital audio

            recorder in client’s bedroom closet, 1 digital audio recorder in

            children’s bedroom attic space, K-2 meter in client’s bedroom, all

            other equipment handheld by investigators

Psychic/Medium perceptions prior to arrival: Hotspots located on left

            side of house, backside of basement (newer section), client’s

            bedroom, right side of house attic, male spirit resides from former

            house on property, possible fire, deceased relatives-male “Fred”

            wearing 1950’s-60’s clothing.

Psychic/Medium perceptions during investigation: Felt presence attached

            to workbench in basement which was original to the home; concluded

            that the client’s great-great grandfather had passed in the house;

            sensed an impish spirit living inside attic spaces on second floor that

            was responsible for noises and attic doors blowing off; sensed male

            figure in upstairs bedrooms and attic-family relation-feels he still owns

            the house; Sensed motherly spirit in children’s playroom (same room

            g.g. grandfather passed away in).

Investigator personal experiences on site: Laurie felt a heaviness in the air

            in the bedroom where the great-great grandfather passed away before

            she knew the history. Terri experienced several unexplainable EMF

            spikes in upstairs bedrooms. Steve and Dee experienced K-2 meter

            changing lights with no reasonable explanation in client’s bedroom.

            Dee felt client’s bedroom door being pulled shut out of her hand when

            door was weighted to fall open.

Investigation summary: Client took team on tour of premises (excluding

            psychics) with history and paranormal hotspots. Then our psychics

            took a tour of the property and home. Notes were compared and

            Steve delegated which team members were to investigate in which

            area and with which equipment. Dee, Laurie, and Terrie worked on

            debunking TV claim with no success. Teams took turns with EVP

            sessions in various rooms of the house, concluding with a K-2

            communication session in client’s bedroom.

Evidence review and findings: 7 EVP’s were captured during our

            investigation:

·         Client’s bedroom-23 min, 6 sec says “F*** that”

·         Client’s bedroom second recording session-3 min, 35 sec says “Now” or “No”

·         Living room/base of staircase-8 min, 29 sec says “Wow”

·         Living room-6 min, 23 sec says “Down here”

·         Upstairs hallway/children’s bedroom-25 min, 26 sec says “Hey you”

·         Children’s room attic-10 min, 15 sec says “Have fun” and noises when no one was in there

·         Master bedroom closet-57 min, 45 sec has indistinguishable whispering and then says “Yeah”

No photo or video evidence was captured. K-2 anomalies attributed to cycling refrigerator on floor beneath client’s bedroom.

Final summary: PIRCOM would like to thank the home owner as well as

            Jane and Karen from WIMPS for allowing us the opportunity to

            investigate the home. Although 7 evp’s were captured during our

            investigation we are not convinced of a haunting on this property. We

            have the following suggestions for the client:

1.      Insert screws into attic space doors to keep them from falling off. Panel movement may be attributed to suction from other doors opening and closing.

2.      High EMF spikes were occurring in client’s bedroom due to appliances being located directly beneath as well as the window unit air conditioner. If client is susceptible to higher electromagnetic fields then they may feel a sense of fear while in this room which would carry into the hallway.

3.      Document any abnormal occurrences with date and time of day to see if there are any correlations or patterns to the occurrences.

 Follow up report: During evidence reveal, client told us that her calf was

                  grabbed by an invisible hand while she was sleeping during the

                  middle of the night after we had left from investigating the home.
