This case started back in October of 2011. Both Linda and I
walked into this place that is off of exit 145 & I 94. We talked to the owner
to see if he would like his place investigated free of charge. The owner Phil
agreed. About 2 weeks prior Linda and I had went in to have dinner there and
talk about setting up an appointment for an investigation. The investigation
was set for Monday the 19th of December, 2011.
Monday would be perfect because that was the only night they were closed and we could have a
good sound discipline. I will be lead investigator and I have two training psychics
with me. One has a bit of experience and the other is very new and still
untested. Amy is the one with the bit of experience and Linda is just starting
out. This investigation will provide an opportunity to further test their abilities. The investigation will start at 7:00 PM and end around 10:00 PM.

These are the facts in the Local Pub & Brewery case from 12/19/2011:
AUDIO: I went through the first 2 reels of audio tape on this case and found
many facts within it. I found out that a lot of objects within the pub were brought
over from the older building that burnt down circa 1960. There were the voices
(EVP’s) of 3 men and 1 female. The names within led us to an Anna N. Curden,
found in the 1930 census. Anna was living in Jackson, MI. with her husband Lyman
A. Curden. This leads me to believe that Anna N. Curden might be the lady that
is roaming around the Local Pub and Brewery. This also would lead me to believe
that her husband Layman might be the maintenance man long thought to be haunting the pub.
Perhaps some more spirits will reveal themselves in time.
VIDEO: The 1st reel was very uneventful and showed no promise
of any activity. The 2nd reel had the silhouette of a lady that was
tall, skinny and had her hair cut in a short bob. The image showed up at 3:39
seconds into the reel. Might this be the spirit of Anna? Reel # 2 was filmed in the kitchen as investigator Amy Powers and Linda Arnett were doing their walk through. Nothing else was found on reel #2. The
3rd reel of video was taken in the basement as investigator Linda and I did our walk through. On reel #3 at approx. 15:45 to 15:48 there is a little boy that walks by right in front of the camera. The top of his wool hat was visible and you can hear his foot falls pass as he walks
by as well. Nothing was seen by the investigators at the time.
PSYCHIC IMPRESSIONS: Although there were many spirits present it is hard
to tell who they were. The crew of investigators and I sensed men, women, and
children. In the kitchen right at the beginning of the walk through I sensed
a little boy and I had the impression that he was the one who followed Linda and I into the basement. These are the latest developments in the case as of 1/11/2012 3:53 PM

PM 12/19/2011
The
night was overcast and a bit rainy on and off. The temp outside was in the mid
40 degree F range. The building was closed for the night and the only people
in the place were Phil the owner, the records keeping lady and our crew: Steve, Linda, Amy, and Zoey. The PIRCOM crew met in the parking lot around 7:00 PM and then we talked to Phil regarding our investigation
expectations then started to set up our equipment for the case. Amy volunteered
to go downstairs by herself with a tape recorder. While she was downstairs Linda
was on the main floor in the dining room. Zoey and I headed upstairs to check
out the attic. About 30 minutes passed before we all met up in the main bar area. Amy mentioned that she could hear me all the way upstairs. This is when I suggested that Amy and Zoey stay in the bar area as Linda and I did a walk through the basement. Linda was doing great getting all the info she could by using her psychometry gift
to gather info about certain objects. Once we were done we headed back upstairs
to the main office to check in with Phil. We talked with Phil for a few minutes
and he corroborated that Linda was right on about all of the psychic info she received in the basement. After our brief conversation we moved on to the tank room where the beer was stored. Linda started picking up more info in that room about two men that used to run the company back in the
late 1990’s. Once we gathered the info in that room we moved to the main
bar area to meet up with Amy & Zoey. Amy made mention that there was a mystery
to be solved in the attic of this place. When we started up the PX box Translator
it said over and over “UP” “UP” “UP……..” This is when we took the hint and
agreed to go up and see what we could find out. The air got colder and colder
as we made our way up to the attic. The stairs creaked under our feet as we ascended
the stairs to the attic. When we got to the top of the stairs we saw the bookkeeper
doing her paperwork in the office directly across from the attic door. Amy went
to open the door and it creaked as she slowly opened it. The air was warm the
last time I was up there now it was very cold. We all walked in at the same time. The tape recorders were rolling as were the video cameras. Amy was taking still photos with her Nikon camera. She would
point the camera at the spots she felt energy coming from and then take a photo. She
(Amy) started to get photos that looked like a long black finger pointing to the record boxes that contained the files to
the business from 1999. The boxes were marked March 1999, April 1999, and November
year end 1999. We found out later that those boxes were from the old owners that
went bankrupt and out of business years ago. The place remained vacant for many
years until Phil bought the place.
Next we headed to the basement for another EVP session. The basement yielded many EVP’s but most were
hidden in the background noise of the pumps and generators that run the building. It
was around 9:30 PM as we made our way to the first part of the very large labyrinth under the Brewery. Once in the main banquet room we started to get very strange vibes.
Our psychics ‘saw’ many scenes from the 1980’s. The
powdered blue tuxes with the ruffles on the shirts, the music, the drinks, the
family disputes, and so on. After that we moved on to the small bar area to see
what Zoey and Amy could perceive. Both Linda and I were eager to compare their
impressions with our own. They did great! Zoey kept picking up on the 1970’s
and 1980’s stuff. Amy picked up on many things from many different eras.
We left there and entered this very dark and dank room with a chair in it. Linda
had put her hands on the chair when we were down there about an hour earlier. All
of us sensed the presence of an older man and he did not appear very happy at all. I saw what he looked like and this is my description:
He was a tall, stalky man in his 40’s with a big black beard and sunken eyes.
He had on a blue jean jacket with corduroy cuffs on his sleeves. He also
had on old, faded blue jeans but I couldn’t see beyond his knees. He didn’t
have much to say to me he just looked very sad. After that we left the room and
headed out to explore the rest of the basement which did not result in any further evidence.
It
was getting late and I thought it was a good time to head upstairs and wrap this case up for the night. We took the stairs back up to Phil’s office and had another talk with him. He confirmed 90% of the things we found and said he would check into the boxes upstairs as soon as he could. With that we all thanked him and said that the reveal would take place as soon as
we reviewed the material we had just gathered.
