Investigation Report
Summer, 2009
The PIRCOM team was invited to spend an evening investigating cemeteries with
our friends from Dearborn, MI. We first met up with Jan and Carol at one of our Ghost Walks and have remained in contact ever
since. They introduced us to Union Chapel Cemetery where we have enjoyed investigating together many times. This time however,
they wanted to bring us to a cemetery containing many of their deceased relatives. Our team looked forward to attempting
to help contact their loved ones as well as checking out some new territory. The girls were not disappointed. Contact was
apparently made through the use of dowsing rods resulting in some answered questions, realization of a possible family
mystery, with a few sentimental tears along the way. As these sessions were taking place I was taking photographs
all around the cemetery. At the time they were "chatting" with a male member of their family, an apparent apparition was captured
on my digital camera. The sun was just about set for the evening and I had no idea about the image until I was able to review
it following the investigation. I sent the photo to all involved for their feedback. Knowing that the girls knew that cemetery
very well I was expecting them to tell me that something else was over in that area making it look like a human shape. No
such explanation came. I was left with the possibility that this image may actually be paranormal. If you look closely, it
appears that their is an image of a man, turned sideways, wearing a military uniform and hat (possibly Navy?). At first I
thought perhaps it was a cop checking on us, but I remember that there was still enough light to see and we would have all
noticed someone walking in. Plus, he would have said something to us...right? Then I realized that you could still see the
treeline through this transparent image! I look forward to visiting this site again to see if any gravesites near that area
might be a match to our mysterious onlooker.
