Built in 1867, the property used to host
a real cemetery prior to being purchased and redeveloped. At a cost of $2.50 per body removal, the way was cleared for the
construction of the hotel. Times being what they were in the mid-1800s, the possibility is great that several corpses remain
buried underneath the building.
After a fire gutted the building in 1977, the building laid still until its renovation
in the late 1980s when it was transformed into the restaurant it is today.
Paranormal reports of the Hotel include shadow figures scene on the staircases, a full-bodied
apparition appearing and scratching an employee in the upstairs ladies room, loud bangs on walls and windows in the manager's
office, plants and chairs being moved over night when no one has been in the building, tv's turning themselves on and off,
a little girl beconning guests towards her, and a report of a demonic family being held against a wall in the basement by
a metal cross made out of the bottom of a table leg.
