Description of location and surrounding area: Multi-building apartment

complex in suburb-style neighborhood. 2 story buildings.

Area history: When Michigan became a state in 1837, a farming community,

this original town was made part of Orange Township. Because of strong

Irish sentiment, the township's name was changed to Erin in 1843. In 1846,

a wooden plank toll road was constructed, connecting the community with

Detroit and Mount Clemens. In 1926, this town was incorporated as a

village.

Client claims: Residents and staff have experienced apparition of former

maintenance man throughout complex, 1 resident claimed to have furniture

violently moved, keys hanging in keyroom off of main office have been

found lying across the room frequently.

Location history: Built in 1973. Residents of 3 separate apartments had

recently died within the units.

Equipment used: 4 digital cameras, 2 digital audio recorders, dowsing rods,

EMF/temperature data recorder, infrared video camera recording to VCR.

Equipment placement: Locked off infrared surveillance video camera in

keyroom of main office. All other equipment hand held throughout

investigations.

Psychic/Medium perceptions prior to arrival: Felt presence of a male

would come forward.

Investigator personal experiences on site: None

Investigation summary: During first investigation of property the team

investigated 3 empty apartments taking EMF/temp readings, digital

photographs, and conducting EVP and dowsing rod sessions in hopes of

spirit communication. During second investigation the PIRCOM team

investigated the main office and concentrated efforts in the keyroom with

EVP session and locked off video monitoring. EMF/temp readings were

taken along with digital photos. Investigation concluded with a séance.

Evidence review and findings: Some photos were captured containing orb

activity, but most were ruled out as being dust. Digital audio recorder

locked off in keyroom provided some interesting sounds, however no

video evidence of any key movement was found.

Final summary: PIRCOM would like to thank Christa for the invitation to

investigate her rental properties on several occasions. PIRCOM will

continue to investigate the claims and individual apartments as necessary.

There seems to be significant spiritual activity throughout this complex,

although our results can neither confirm nor deny these claims.

Apartment 102

It was late May of 2009 when a friend of PIRCOM called me and asked me for a favor. I said “sure what can I do for you?” She said that she had a few apartments that people had just died in around 2 months ago and asked if I would like to investigate them before they were repainted and put up for rent again? I asked if there was any paranormal happenings going on of late? She said no, not that she was aware of, but she wanted to know for sure before they were rented out again. I asked her if the weekend coming up was good for her and she said “great!”

I called my team and we were ready on that Saturday night. It was a good thing that the investigation was inside because outside it was thundering and lightening. The rain was coming down in buckets. The 1^st two apartments were right next to each other. The paranormal energy, EMF’s and temperature readings were not out of the ordinary. I did make contact with the past owners of these apartments and my friend was able to verify the information I presented later on. The last apartment was across the hall in apartment 102. The moment I walked in the door of apartment 102 I knew this place was different…I mean very different! Dee and my friend hooked up together to do EMF readings and also temp readings of the living room and kitchen. All along my other investigator Kristie was taking photos. Kristie’s photo work is outstanding and I was glad to have her on hand that night.

Once we all worked our way back down the hallway and to the back bedroom the energy started to get very strong in apartment 102. Dee handed me the divining rods as she started to take EVP samples. My friend was helping me by keeping an eye on my questions. I was unaware of any tenants’ names, so as I was talking with this spirit, my friend kept taking notes for later. I didn’t know it at the time, but investigator, Kristie was taking the best photos of this case as all this was going on. Once it was all over and we had time to scan the audio and photos it became clear that Kristie came through once again! I am proud to say that I have the best Paranormal Investigators in the state of Michigan! If you wish to see the ghoulish faces stare back at you thru the window of apartment 102 please look at the photo on the previous page. The angry spirit of that old lady that used to live in apartment 102 now roams the grounds and most of the time hangs out at the club house. So next time you go to rent an apartment just remember…if some person died there they might still be there watching you…hmmm, an extra roommate who won’t contribute to the rent!!

June, 2009--Update

A return investigation yielded some recorded phenomena worth mentioning. The key room inside of the office is supposedly haunted by a former maintenance worker. Keys have been known to fly off of their hooks across the room among other things. Our digital recorder was left locked up in the room for two hours.
