Description of location and surrounding area: 1 story home on walk-out

            basement, lakefront, in rural neighborhood.

Area history: Originally founded as a lumber town, with sawmills located on the shores of Budd Lake, Harrison is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 2,108. It is the county seat of Clare County. Harrison is near the junction of US 127 and M-61. US 127 actually bypasses the city on the east, though a business route serves the downtown area. Clare is 14 miles south on US 127, while Grayling is 40 miles to the north. Harrison is bordered along its eastern side by Budd Lake.

Location history: Arnold Lake area was used for logging. Client built this

            home in 2004 as first structure on this property as far back as we

            know. Plot of land used to belong to a farmer in the late 1800’s, early

            1900’s. Previous owner of property sold after husband died. They

            were planning on using it as their retirement land.

Equipment used: Digital camera, dowsing rods, PX box, K-2 meter,

            EMF/temp. data recorder, 1 digital audio recorder

Equipment placement: Investigation took place in first bedroom where all

            equipment was used.

Psychic/Medium perceptions prior to arrival: Sensed there was a male

            presence in the bedroom of the home who was attached to the client.

Psychic/Medium perceptions during investigation: When Steve arrived

            he was led directly to the bedroom where he made contact with a

            young boy spirit he called Mark and a grandfatherly spirit who

            watched over Mark. He told client that Mark had followed her from  

            her previous residence and thought of her as a mother-figure. The

            older gentleman refused to communicate with Steve, but Mark was

            excited and continued to follow Steve throughout the house.

Investigator personal experiences on site: Dee experienced the bed

            shaking in the same manner as claimed by the client for several

            seconds without finding reasonable cause.

Investigation summary: Steve provided a psychic analysis of the home and

            confirmed most of the client’s experiences. We spent time in the

            bedroom and outside.

Evidence review and findings: Dowsing rods had been used with some

            success to communicate with the spirit of Mark. However, no

            substantial audio or visual evidence was found to support these claims.

Final summary: PIRCOM has remained in contact with this client. She

            reports that most of the activity has ‘calmed down’ since Steve

            communicated with Mark. She now talks to Mark and he occasionally

            responds by shaking the bed! PIRCOM will continue to monitor this

            case in hopes of gathering enough tangible evidence to prove these

            claims.
